Mallory Trepanier
Psychologist, MEd. Counselling Psychology, B.A
Collingwood, Ontario Clients

I am a Registered Psychologist who has worked 8 years in the field of mental health within various roles. I relocated from Calgary to Collingwood 4 years ago and am registered in both Alberta and Ontario. I am passionate about working with youth and adults who have experienced grief/loss, intergenerational trauma, sexual violence, domestic violence, addiction and mental health concerns including, PTSD, anxiety, dissociation and attachment related presentations. I believe as a client you have your own narratives, strengths, and resources, to heal in your own way, and at your own pace. My goal is to support you while also teaching you new approaches that will help you learn to heal psychologically, physically and spiritually.

I always let me clients know right away that therapy is not a quick fix, it takes time, dedication and vulnerability, but the results are worth it. So if you're feeling ready to take the next step and you would be interested in how we might work together, you can schedule a free 30 minute consult with me and I would be happy to chat. Please see my contact info below. I look forward to hearing from you!

Let's connect

I am currently accepting new clients in person on Wednsday's at my office located downtown Collingwood, ON.  At this time I am only taking clients who need a "Psychologist" specifically for insurance purposes as there aren't many of us in the area.

Bear Roots Psychology is situated on the traditional territories of the Siksikaitsitapi (Siksika, Kainai and Piikani), the Tsuut'ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki and Wesley). Mohkinstsis is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III and many relations who have settled in this area. These lands have witnessed the signing of Treaty 7 and offered teachings to the Niitsitapi since time immemorial.
